Challenge #41

Challenge #41 was to use die-cuts in a creative way.
i didnt actually use a die cut in some unheard of new fashion, but i knew when i had the idea for this page i wanted the die-cut to be HUGE (6 inches!) for it to be the main focus of the page, not the photo. (for a change)

Challenge #27

this was a really fun one for me, to use print media (catalogs, etc) on a layout. i save all pretty & inspirational catalogs, menus, look books, etc for just that purpose and knew right away i wanted to use last years Coach Holiday 2009 catalog on a page. i loved (and still LOVE) every single thing about it. what a fun page for the Holiday 2009 album :)

challenge #39 was to formulate your journaling as a mad-lib, which was a *cinch*, thanks to the fabulous KI Memories "Taglines" mad lib style journaling stickers!

Challenge #47

this challenge was to write (or stamp) directly on a photo, so i continued my title on the second photo.

Challenge #18

this idea came to me quickly after reading this challenge- to use opposite colors from the color wheel. i chose yellow and purple and just LOVE this page to bits!

Challenge #4

this was right up my alley- make a layout based off song lyrics. thats totally my thing :) just a few weeks ago i did 5-6 song lyrics layouts at once, including the previous challenge! i dont believe in "using" a previous layout as your "challenge" tho, so i made a brand new one for this one! :)

Challenge #43

this challenge was to "sew on your page" in an innovative way" and boy, this WAS a challenge for me. i do not sew in any way shape or form. so using a pkg of colorful rub on "stitches" i decorated the main flower of the page...this an older picture of me, with the title & journaling being song lyrics that meant alot to me during the time that pic was taken :) im making a weird face, but i like it on the whole.
